Scale phase
D9.1 Pilot Quality Assurance Guide
This deliverable provides a single point of reference for the pilot quality assurance procedures applied to all internal and external results of the individual pilot sites during the project implementation.
D9.2 General Pilot Management Plan
A guide in the pilot management at the different pilot sites. Each pilot faces similar tasks but will need to develop different approaches to fulfill these tasks. This is due to different local requirements and regulations.
Innovation Lab Phase
D2.4 Technical Obstacles to Innovation Analysis
The aim of this deliverable is to capture the technical barriers that are hindering the massive implementation of Demand Response (DR) schemes in the context of smart grids.
D7.1 Modules interoperability
The main objective of this deliverable is to become the ground-floor base for the development of Work Package 7 – Development of TwinERGY system Modules. This document intends to design the initial specifications of the different modules to be developed as well as to assure the interoperability between them.
D7.2 Consumer well-being module
It describes the consumers’ comfort / well-being module comprising a low-cost autonomous wearable device through which specific physiological, motion and environmental data can be unobtrusively collected and aggregated and the appropriate software to process this data and extract various features towards formulating a consumer’s comfort and well-being profile.
D7.3 Home & Tertiary real-time Energy Monitoring Module
The main objective of the D7.4 is the delivery of the Module, the respective Web and Mobile application. Moreover, the handbook for the user interfaces and for the other services is provide.
D7.4 Consumer and Neighbourhood demand flexibility profiling Module
The main objective of this deliverable is to use the capabilities of the consumer and communities Digital Twins methodology for calculating and profiling the potential flexibility and micro and macro level.
D7.5 RES integration and DER management Module
The objective of this deliverable is to describe the ideas and concepts behind the module as well as the structure of the software that is developed for the operation during the pilot phase.
D7.6 TwinEV module
This deliverable presents the design and results related to the development of the TwinEV module. The deliverable is focused on the results of the work carried out under Task 7.6 “TwinEV Module” that is intended to create a module that accounts for high-value services to EV users, such as minimum charging prices, maximum green electricity supply and different kinds of grid services.
D7.7 Transactive Energy Module
The purpose of this document is to provide an overview of the Transactive Energy Module which is designed to implement organized nodal electricity markets for the distribution grid, which will revolutionize the relationships among customers, energy companies, and the grid under the new emerging transactive energy paradigm.
D7.8 Customer Deployment and Social Engagement Module
The deliverable presents an overview of the functionalities that are addressed by the developed functionalities of the TwinERGY social network module (SNM) mobile application and the general principles regarded for the design.
D7.9 Risk Management and event handling Module
It reports on the development and implementation of two models, RAMPART and STPA, in risk management. Both models are used supplementary in this deliverable’s framework in order to exploit the potential of energy demand flexibility.
D8.1 TwinERGY connectors to distributed smart grid assets and respective APIs
The main objective of this deliverable is to register the stages of the smooth and seamless integration of the smart grid components in the TwinERGY solution.
D8.2 TwinERGY Pre-trial validation testing scenarios and results
The integrated laboratory testing corresponds to task 8.2 “TwinERGY system modules integration and lab testing” and its main scope is to evaluate the interoperability capabilities and the functionalities of the developed tools in an integrated environment. In order to achieve that goal, the necessary laboratory infrastructure and the appropriate simulation environment are used.
D8.3 TwinERGY Integrated Solution
The output of Task 8.2 will be tested in real-life conditions in the pilot sites. With the feedback provided in that stage, the technical developers of TwinERGY will refine its individual modules and will also refine the integration of them.
Design Thinking Phase
D4.1 Consumers behavioural analysis
This report documents all tasks and results achieved for Task 4.1 –Consumers’ behavioral analysis, aimed at obtaining an in-depth understanding of the relevant dimensions that influence consumers to adopt sustainable energy solutions, and their implications for the consumer engagement process.
D4.2 Consumer engagement plan
This report documents all tasks and results achieved for Task 4.2 – Consumer engagement strategies assessment and development, aimed at obtaining an in-depth understanding of consumer behavior regarding engagement in the project technologies and participation in local energy markets.
D4.3 Methodological Framework
This deliverable presents the methodological approach of the TwinERGY consortium particularly with respect to implementing innovative technology in pilots. The approaches of Design Thinking and Responsible Innovation are at the heart of the methodology.
D4.4 System Architecture
This deliverable presents the results related to the architecture of the products and use cases during the TwinERGY project. The deliverable is focused on the results of the work carried out under Task 4.4 “System’s Architecture Design”, that develops an open, secure, and flexible customer-centric architecture mapped on the European SGAM framework.
D5.1 TwinERGY Common Information Model
This deliverable illustrates the TwinERGY Common Information Model (CIM) that effectively forms the structure and semantic of the data that are going to be stored and exchanged for the needs of the project.
D5.2 Data Collection, Security, Storage & Management Services Bundles – Beta Release
This deliverable provides the beta release of the respective services bundles. The data availability in the pilot sites, the data requirements of the TwinERGY modules, and the nine (9) use cases of the TwinERGY project are analysed.
D5.3 TwinERGY Integrated Data Management Platform – Alpha, Mockups Release
All services and their functionalities are described in depth in this document, to show the range of functionalities that the TwinERGY CDMP users, including data providers and all involved actors that will exploit the data available, would be able to access.
D5.4 TwinERGY Integrated Platform – Beta Release
In this document, all services and their corresponding functionalities are detailed, using as a basis the TwinERGY conceptual architecture, as introduced in D5.3, in order to inform the TwinERGY Core Data Management Platform (CDMP) users about the range of functionalities that they are enabled with.
D5.5 Data Collection, Security, Storage & Management Services Bundles – Release 1.00
The current deliverable provides the description Release 1.00 of the respective services bundles. The data availability in the pilot sites, the data requirements of the TwinERGY modules, and the nine (9) use cases of the TwinERGY project were analysed, as explained in the deliverable D5.3 "TwinERGY Integrated Data ManagementPlatform – Alpha, Mock-ups Release, [3]”.
D5.6 TwinERGY Integrated Data Management Platform–Release 1.00
The purpose of this document is to inform the users of the TwinERGY Core Data Management Platform (CDMP) about the full range of functionalities that are available to them. This includes a description of all services and the associated functionalities, as well as functionality enhancements since the Platform’s Beta Release.
D5.7 Data Collection, Security, Storage & Management Services Bundles – Release 2.00
The current deliverable provides the Release 2.00 and features some further functionalities for the intended users of the TwinERGY Core Data Management Platform, in relation to D5.5.
D5.8 TwinERGY Integrated Data Management Platform–Release 2.00
The purpose of this document is to inform the users of the TwinERGY Core Data Management Platform (CDMP) about the full range of functionalities that are available to them. This includes a description of all services and the associated functionalities, as well as functionality enhancements since the Platform’s Release 1.00.
D6.1 System Dynamics: Framework & Practice for Systems Modelling
Over the course of the project, UNIVBRIS and partners will build on established expertise in Systems Thinking and Engineering to facilitate the collaborative development of meaningful models of emerging energy futures. These models can help stakeholders understand better the potential of TwinERGY’s innovations and optimise the use of its outcomes.
D6.2 Demand Flexibility Models
The goal of the TwinERGY project is to introduce a first-of-a-kind Digital Twin framework that will incorporate the required intelligence for optimizing demand response at the local level without compromising the well-being of consumers and their daily schedules and operations. Key to this goal is the development of the demand flexibility models that will forecast the required behaviour and communicate it to the real world for implementation.
D6.3 Customer Digital Twin
It describes the steps of the methodology framework which was adopted at the development process by CDT and the tasks included in each step. Moreover, it presents the front-end and back-end technologies which are implemented for the development of the CDT as a web app, as well as, the technologies utilized for data acquisition, data visualization and data analysis.
D6.4 Development of the Digital Twin Interconnected Platform
The following report is intended to act as an update regarding the progress towards the creation of the TwinERGY Digital Twin Interconnected Platform.
Ecosystem Analysis Phase
D2.1 Best Practice Guidelines for Engaging Citizens in the Pilots and Metrics for Diversity and Inclusion
This report provides an introduction to the TwinERGY Project, shares co-design methodologies, the process by which a community engagement framework was co-created with the TwinERGY Pilot leads, KWMC and IFC, and best practice guidelines for citizen engagement in the project.
D2.5 Social, Ethical and Cultural Barriers to Innovation
In this report, we perform an in-depth analysis of (a) the social aspects that will challenge and affect the development of the TwinERGY framework and (b) the main drivers for active customers, how these barriers affect them, and how they can be overcome.
Management
D1.1 Project Management Handbook
The main objective of the deliverable is to become a reference document for the TwinERGY consortium regarding the procedures to be employed towards project management and implementation.
D1.2 Data Management Plan
The purpose of this document is to outline how TwinERGY data will be handled both during the project lifespan and after it, covering all aspects of data management, in accordance with the applicable FAIR Principles in H2020.
D1.3 Quality Assurance Plan
The main objective of this deliverable is to provide a single point of reference for the quality assurance procedures applied to all internal and external results and deliverables during the project implementation.
D1.5 Project Management Plan
The main objective of this deliverable is to become a reference document for the TwinERGY consortium regarding the way in which the overall management of the project will be carried out, taking into account good practices and establishing procedures that can contribute to the effective monitoring and control of the project throughout its duration.
D1.6 Project Management Plan Revision 1
The present document (D1.6) contains an updated version of the deliverable D1.5 Project Management Plan of the TwinERGY project (till M18 of the project – April 30th, 2022).
D2.2 Stakeholders analysis: KPIs, Scenarios and Use Case definition
This report comprises the requirements and KPIs of stakeholders in diverse environments of the TwinERGY project and presents a strategy for the implementation of best practices to ensure the maximization of consumer engagement in a revamped energy market.
D2.3 Business Models & Incentive Schema Definition
The purpose of this document is to provide an overview of the existing business models from the energy sector and provide propositions for improved ones, which can be demonstrates and tested in real conditions at the demo sites of the TwinERGY project.
D3.1 TwinERGY – European Projects Innovation and Cooperation roadmap
The aim of this report is to present the interactive discussions of TwinERGY project with BRIDGE Working Groups (WGs) of Data Management, Regulation, Customer and Citizen engagement.
D10.1 Business analysis / Exploitation plans
The purpose of this document is to provide an innovative business plan which maximizes the exploitation potential and results from multiple Work Packages (WP 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 11) and Deliverables (D2.2, D2.3, D2.4, D2.5, D4.2, D4.3, D11.2), within the TwinERGY project. This deliverable provides valuable insights to enhance existing business models and introduces new, high-value models that drive increased success.
D11.2 Communication and Dissemination Plan
The main objective of this deliverable is to become a reference document for the TwinERGY consortium regarding the way in which the overall communication and dissemination strategy of the project will be carried out.
D11.3 1st European Workshop with Stakeholders
The focus was our engagement and learning with citizens. Our target audience was broad, and included researchers, local government representatives, policymakers, community, the not-for-profit sector, business, energy regulators and others interested in how to effectively engage citizens with innovative energy technologies.
D11.6 Energy Future Videos
This deliverable presents the structure and content of the Energy Future Video Series produced and distributed by the IFC team as part of the dissemination and communication effort of the TwinERGY project.
D12.1 Legal & Ethical Compliance Guide
This document falls under Task T12.1 on identification of legal and ethics requirements and aims to provide guidance to technical partners at the early project stage. To this end, the document puts forward a Pilots’ Guide, a set of suggested questions based on the analysis of various applicable regulations and related perspectives from a European Union perspective, in order to enable and facilitate the partners contributing to the pilots’ activities.
D12.2 1st Legal & Ethical Compliance Report
It aims to provide an interim overview of the project compliance with the requirements set out under D12.1 “Legal & Ethical Compliance Guide” delivered in M9 and to update the consortium partners on the latest regulatory developments in the EU which deemed relevant to the TwinERGY activities.
D12.5 Data Use License Template
The report provides an overview of the development of the data use license template in the UK (Bristol) Pilot of the TwinERGY project and how this approach has then been shared with the other TwinERGY pilots in Greece, Italy and Germany. The approach is fully compliant with research ethics procedures, informed consent and GDPR legislation.
